Organizers of the London International Music Show (LIMS) have announced that the finals of the online guitar competition, Guitar Idol, will be held at this year’s LIMS on Saturday, June 14. Guitarists interested in competing can submit an original composition or play over downloadable backing tracks featuring a wide variety of styles. Submissions should be uploaded to www.guitar-idol.co.uk and be kept to approximately three minutes in length. The ten players who receive the largest number of votes from the public and a panel of judges will participate at the London Guitar Show (part of LIMS) on June 14. More »

During the past few years, Fall Out Boy has literally exploded over the pop music landscape. They’ve earned their keep by spending hard time on the road, building their music, giving it muscle and gathering a global network of fans. They hit pay dirt in 2005 with their breakout CD, From Under The Cork Tree.
