
- Justin Timberlake has been tapped to host this year’s ESPYs, ESPN’s Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards, set for July 20th in Los Angeles.
- Joan Jett, Cheap Trick, the Kinks and Mott the Hoople are among the other artists who will be featured on Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. The game hits stores in June.
- The Rolling Stones have been permitted to play Blackpool, England after the city’s council lifted a forty-four year ban. The Stones were originally banned when fifty people were hospitalized after riots broke out during a 1964 gig.
- Paul McCartney has paid homage to the Beatles’ manager and mentor, Neil Aspinall, via a post on his site: “Neil was a great man who I knew even before I met any of the guys in The Beatles…I will miss him but will remember the laughs.”
